“Festus…just ONCE I wish you’d make sense. MY Matt messing around with that hussy dance-hall girl Sunshine?…Land o’ Goshen! Sometimes I just wonder whether you got the sense God gave a goose.
All right, all right….. I’ll come along and take a look, but if you’re mess’in with me….you won’t sit down for a week!”
“Oh Sunshine, that was wonderful”…said big Matt.” But I gotta ask ya…Don’t tell Kitty..not just yet….
Ever since you first said to me those magic words: “Well hellooooooo cowboy” I knew you were the one fer me”.
A loud crash interrupts them.
“Well, surprise, surprise” said Miss Kitty purred through the door she’d just kicked in. Just like a cat with whiskers full of cream.

I am laying down, watching my friend Sunshine's favorite show! Gunsmoke! Surprise!......Surprise!
I doze off, and and all the rest seem's so real, but it must be a dream.
How can I be hearing Sunshine ,saying in as low a voice as possible ...! Don't tell Kitty....not just yet. I also hear she is speaking with Matt's deputy Festus, all must not be going well...since her voice sounds agitated!
Festus..........Just ONCE I wish you'd make sense.
This dream is getting better and better by the minute...oh please I don't want to wake up yet!
Now I hear a knock at the door........but also I hear footsteps heading for the back door.hmmm what's going on now!

I know that voice it's Miss Kitty! She has just caught Matt with Sunshine!!! She is furious, and in the heat of the moment has lost her lady like manners.
Believe me I know I heard her!

I say to my self, no way is Sunshine going allow anyone, and I do mean anyone talk to Matt like that! Oh how right I was....she hit's miss Kitty with her high heel!!!!

"well, hellooooooo, cowboy" was the voice i heard coming in through the open door! On my god, i thought, she's here again! i looked over to my husband and said "don't tell Kitty.... not just yet", then suddenly she was at the door "surprise! surprise!" she shrieked. "bet you weren't expecting to see me quite so soon?". 'you could say that', i thought to myself.
anyway, my predicament is quite simple and i must tell Kitty soon, you see, my name is sunshine and my husband has just told her, "sunshine is head over heels in love with Marshall Dillon" then he got up and walked out of the room. Kitty beckons him back " Matt Dillon... get your *** RIGHT back here!"
KItty looks at me and says "just once i wish you'd make sense"

(as you can see i omitted the Festus as i wasn't sure whether that was a name or whether it's some sort of slang word)
