If you dont feel that you are ready for a baby then you need to talk to your partner and tell them that you are just not ready. It is a huge commitment and personally I would wait. I wasnt ready at 17 in fact it took till I was 29 before I really thought I could cope and even then it took some major adjustment.

Get ALL the facts before going for it as it will be a life long commitment.

I hope this helps and best of luck

#1 Why would you get married at 17 if your going to be together forever i would wait a few years and if you still feel the same then tie the knot

And if you are not ready for a baby don't have one it would not be fair to your child and you should ask your self why dose your fiance want to have one so young -is she trying to keep you or is she wanting the baby because she is afraid of being alone you are only 17 the is so much you should do before you have a kid everything changes and having a baby if you are not ready can put stress on you and you might find yourself holding a grudge against your fiance in the future

Get on birth control now!!! You dont know what is going to happen at this age. When I was 17 I thought I was in love and blah blah blah and wanted to have a baby but now I am almost 23 and have had so much fun and a couple boyfriends since then, got married at 21 and had a baby 9 days ago. It is really tough to have a baby and it is something you should live your life before you do. I am so glad I never had a baby before with any of my ex boyfriends and I am glad I never married any of them (came close). I was 20 when I met my husband and sometimes I think that is too young but he is very good to me and now I am glad I married him....but I am more glad he married me!

Seriously, you are young and you have alot ahead of you that you don't even know. Don't ever let anyone pressure you into anything. I love my baby and he is the best thing that has ever happened to me, but, I am glad I waited until I was 22 to have him. I had a chance to go out and hang out with friends and do what I wanted for a long enough time. It was long enough for me atleast. But please please please, think about your future and don't be afraid to tell him no. Get a puppy instead. That's what me and my boyfriend did when I was 17 and I ended up taking care of the dog all the time and he left me.........It happens!

Well lets start with.. Are you ready for a baby? Have you finished school? Do you want to give up on partys and friends? Do you want a care job? Well depending on the way you answer those quetions. I think you are scared and that your not ready yet and if that is the case then tell your fiance how you feel and why! Good Luck!

First and foremost you are extremely young. I would concentrate in school or at least providing for you and your fiancee a suitable home. After that has been accomplished I would recommend spend time with him. A Baby absorbs EVERYTHING I have mine on the way and it was an accident but me and my hubby had been together for 1 year and a half so it's ok!
We now have a home to offer our child which makes us feel extremely comfortable because we arent going to be providing for him an apartment that in the end wont be ours
My husband as a decent income and mine is ok too so financially we are stable

There are a lot of things to look at before having a baby
Stability
(emotinal, physical, financial)

If you think you are ready go for it, but if you would rather put it on the side let him know sit and talk to him. Tell him your fears, your views.
I talked to my husband because he too wanted a baby and he agreed to wait... but poof it came!

:)

My best wishes and regards to you and ur fiancee

Tell him HELL NO! You are way too young. Go to college, finish it, then get a good job then have a baby! And get married first. You two are young and in love and thats sweet that hes ready for a lil one. I would suggest you get a dog for now. My sis got one of those bratty lil fluffy dogs and she treats it like a baby. You can buy it clothes and cute carrier and stuff like that. Please get a cute lil puppy for now and wait until you get your life together before having a child! I was wanting to have my kids young but we still made sure we were married first and able to support and kinda spoil our kids and there is no better feeling then decroating a nursery for a baby and buying all the little things that you want! I had my first kid at 20. Im 23 now and pregnant with #2. The importiant thing is that i got myself together before i had a baby!

you can only do what feels right, although i wont suggest getting pregnant at 17. i can speak from experience i know how it feels, i was 17 when i got pregnant, im 18 now, and my baby is due in 4 days, but it hasnt been easy on me at all, im married and all, but the effects of pregnancy on anybodys body especially a younger one isnt fun, i got hit with the hormones of the pregnancy so bad that im still puking because of morning sickness, trust me, live your life a little bit, becuase i know im having a baby soon, i love to go bowling and go play pool, and i realize, yes ill be able to do that after having a baby, provided i find a babysitter, have the extra money to actually pay the sitter, and go out, then i cant really enjoy myself because ill have that feeling of leaving my baby, its a really hard desicion, and i really wasnt ready for a baby in any way, but im raising this child....well will be, and if you cant tell, its already been an emotional roller coaster, because not only to you have to pay for everything, you have to make sure you have a realiable car (baby needs to go to dr.) that you have a car seat, cloths, diapers, formula if you chose to feed that way, trust me you probally arnt ready if your asking what to do

Don't have one if you aren't ready. If you are having problems as a couple, having a baby will not solve them AT ALL, it will only make them worse. Does he have control issues? Because a lot of times men who are controlling want kids to be involved to try to keep you with him. Be smart and strong. Talk to someone you can trust about it, like a counselor at school, or even someone from a church (I don't go to church myself, but there are always clergypersons who are eager to help) to help you. Please don't give in if you aren't ready. You can do it!

If you are not ready then do not do it....you are still very young and have plenty of time to start your family. If your fiance does not understand this then it is time to move on however hard that may be.

17 is a young age to have a baby. If you are not ready, tell him. He will understand if he loves and respects you.
