I have no passion for life. I am not depressed to the extent where I want to commit suicide, but at the same time I have no desire in continuing to participate in this world. I have too many problems, and although they are small, they add up over time. I am just waiting to decease naturally. If i commit suicide i would feel like I lost something. If I just let life go naturally then I will be like everyone else, you live, you die and then nobody knows what happens.

One thing I don't understand is the people who come here and show excessive optimism. They come here and tell me look at all the beautiful things around, be happy, everything is good, and five minutes later they are doing drugs because they are depressed. Please be sincere with your answers.

I feel the same way sometimes, It sucks. Try taking a vacation or changing jobs or something , you just have to find something different to do till the feeling goes away.

Life goes on regardless of how we feel. I've been where you are and got past it, but it takes a willingness to face your inner dark side and much work to get past them.
If you don't feel life is worth living, just seem to be facing the endlessness of mediocrity, and just waiting for life to end, you may need some excitement. Shake up your world by doing something totally out of your comfort zone. Try something different. Push yourself away from the computer, clean your house, start a different project than what you are used to even if you don't think you have a talent for it, get a pet, meet some of your neighbors, volunteer, wait a few days before doing anything drastic to end your life, work on studying a new religion (one outside of the mainstream), appeal to your spirit guides/ancestors/deity, exercise, write a lengthy paper about your life and why you are in your present position, decide on some way that life would be worth living if you would only apply yourself in one area, call a friend or relative, rant and rave about the injustices of life.
Tomarrow things might be just the same, but at least you will have done something.
No, I am not on medication for depression. I have had to work long and hard to find something useful in my life. Facing your own dark side and working to make yourself a better person worked for me. There are still times when I feel that life isn't worth living and no one would care if I died tomarrow, but I take each minute and just wait to see what life lessons I will run into tomarrow.
Life isn't all peaches and cream. No one promised it would be fine and fair. I don't know the reasoning behind your life, hell, sometimes I still wonder why I'm here. But, when I look back over my life, I see people and animals I have helped and maybe made life better for them.
A couple of things I've learned: No one will come to your house and get you moving. You have to do that yourself.
NO ONE can MAKE you happy except yourself. No one can say anything to MAKE you feel better. You are the only one responsible for your life and what you do with it.
Good Luck

I would go to the doctor if I were you. There is a lot of help out there. Life is very precious and should be enjoyed. I have been dealing with depression for years and I am afraid if I hadn't gotten help I would be dead. It really does help - when you are feeling particularly bad, try excercise and sun also.

You just said that you would feel like you lost something if you commit suicide. therefore your question is senseless, obviously you feel that your life is good enough that you have something to lose.
