In a previous question I had asked, " What do you feel is the normal age to be married, for the first time"? By asking that question, I was not implying more than once however, with the divorce rates the way they are I understand the dilemma. I would hope no one goes into a marriage with thought's of, if this doesn't work out I will just get a divorce, that would be ignorant. My apologies for any confusion this may have caused.

Being married for the first time mean to you? It means I am married for the first time! :oP What does it mean to you? :oP
What I thought it meant was to be great... but then the years keep coming and I have realized that he married me because he is 14 years older than me, and wants someone to take care of him when he doesn't no longer work (well, that is what he told me today why he married me).

I don't think age has too much to do with it unless you are under the age of 21. Then that is too young. I think it should be a law that you can not get married until you are 30 . Then you have had time to have fun. It doesn't really mean any thing people divorce now at any age One of the worse case of marriages breaking up late in the marriage now after 25-30 years is Viagra is now out and the guys think they are stud muffins again. Where before they knew the sweet young things that are only after there money would not get any sex. So now the sweet young things take there money and can have sex too. People do not go into marriage with the right attitude now. It is too easy to get a no fault divorce and there is no such a thing.

yeah it does kinda sound like you mean the first time you get married, implying that you may end up getting married more than once. so i can see where someone would think that's what you meant. as for your previous question I'd say around mid to late 20s, like 24-29. I mean you can get married after that, but usually by 29-30 you know what you want in life career wise and you're ready to settle down.

Nice of you to apologize. However, I read your question as implying that there will be more than one marriage.
