no actually it's clear. It contains pockets of air that help to insulate the bear, which in turn, because of the shape and hollow nature of the hair, refracts all light so that it makes your eyes think the bears fur is white. It's no more than an optical illusion

All polar bears are white, although their fur may yellow in the summer. This helps them hide in the snow and so they can stealth and catch their prey.

yes i did know that, but it is not invisible, it is translucent.... their skin is also black, so it absorbs heat better, an adaptation to its cold environment!
