I like to go to the nail shop. The way I look at it, if celebrities can be pampered, then I can too! If you don't do your nails, just curious as to why?

Yes of course, we all deserve to be pampered and feel fabulous ;) My nails are always french manicured. I think nice nails are the main part of looking groomed. I don't really go salons to get them done though, I prefer to do them myself to be honest... I'm quite good at it, and it relaxes me. I supose I can't really answer your question, but a lot of my girlfriends don't have their nails done or do it themselves, because they either bite them a lot or they're just not that bothered about them.

I do my nails myself. I like to keep them long and polished and looking nice. But I hate paying somebody for something I can do myself. My nails are all mine....natural.....not fake, and I keep them french tipped (because that goes with any color clothing I choose to wear). And I polish my toes in the same manner. If I have a break, then I do sometimes go to a salon and have a fake nail put on it until it grows out. But I really don't like fake nails all the time for all my nails because it weakens the nail bed underneath, and makes for soft natural nails. Mind are hard and strong.

I used to go and get manicures/pedicures, but now, my schedule is so crazy and I've got way more responsibilities now that I live w/my bf and we live in the boonies, but every once in a while, I do take care of my nails myself after a soak in the jet spa that we've got, I guess it's all about the mood you're in and if you decide to make time/spend money for it or not.

I don't get my nails done, I do my own manicure, I paint them on my own too. I don't think there is a need for me to go the salon for my nails to look pretty. I do not like acrylic or gel nails because they damage my real nails.

I'm a cellist and I can't grow my nails very long. I like the look of manicured nails, but it'd be a waste of money for me. I agree with you that we all need some little luxuries in life... enjoy!

I stop going after i got a cut in one of my cuticles lucky for me it healed up with no problem and I use to go every two weeks but now I have learned how to do the mani and pedi at home myself and I do them every other weekend once the kids are down to sleep it's my me time. why spend money having to worry about if your going to get infected.

if you consider going to the asian chop shop pampering. i consider it assembly line disease exposure while they cluck and growl away to each other about you. i personally wouldn't step foot (no pun intended) into those joints. how is having someone working on you with playtex gloves, a chemical mask and a kitchen sink scrub brush and heavy duty drill a pampering treatment anyway?

Nope, I think it is impractical to get them done, it costs too much, and then you are afraid of breaking a nail when it's done.

i dont do my finger nails coz i dont have them i bite them they look bad so that i cant show the salonist but i do my toe nails they sit very pretty my toes

I don't and can't cause i work with antistatic sprays, so, it's not gonna work.
