its around £1000 for a conversion, but you would have to work out how many miles you do. generally, LPG costs half of what petrol costs, but it is less efficient by about 33%, so if you get 30mpg at the moment, you'll only get back 20mpg on gas (give or take, depends how you drive it). if you do mega miles then you'll save, if you only use it to pootle down to the shops on a sunday and back, its not worth it. Also, theres the tank. if you use your 4x4 off road then you'll lose your boot, otherwise you can have a tank mounted under the car, so it makes no odds. the good thing is you use a lot more gas, so your morrisons miles clock up quicker and you get your free fiver sooner :P

to run satisfactally on lpg the compression ratio needs to be lowered and hard valve seats fitted with uprated valves. (taxi owners have tried without converting and paid the price) in addition to the kit and fitting costs.

depends on what size of tank.

is it worth it

you will loose boot space
add extra weight
what is the mile per litre you will get

work out how long it will take you to get you money back

will the vehicle last that long.

purely look up what number liters in line with gallon, and how many British pounds in line with US dollar. honest warning, liters in line with gallon will constantly stay consistent. British pounds in line with US dollar won't constantly stay consistent, yet once you do it as pounds in line with dollar, you will desire a decimal extensive kind below a million.
