I had a question on here a few days ago that I thought had been resolved....but maybe not. I recently had a condom break, but my partner and I went and got Plan-B and she took the pills as directed. That was about 6 days ago. At the time she was just at the end of her most recent period. Now she says she is on her period again, and says that both of them seem to be normal. What does this mean, and what should we do next?

Sounds like your in the clear. And really, there's nothing else to be done. If she took the pills as directed, and now she's having a period, there's nothing more to be done. If your really freaked about it though, and just need that added peace of mind, you can get a pregnancy test for her to take before her next period, but I think you've taken care of it.

After taking plan B there can be numerous side effects. Some include bleeding. Regularly, you should have your period a week to two weeks later, but it is different for everyone. In my opinion, I would say nothing is wrong. But if you are worried call a clinic and ask them. It is confidential and no one has to know. Good luck.

I would just let her have the period and if she dont start her next period I would have her take a home pregnancy test. But if you two are really worried go back to the doctor to ask them. Good luck

It is just her bodies way of reacting to Plan-B. Have her read the insert about possibility of onsetting a period. This is because of the amount of hormones that were released in her body - to make sure she didn't conceive. I believe this is normal.

If you continue to have questions - have her consult her doctor!
