There aren't really any new games for the PS2 that are point and click because they've pretty much went the way of the dinosaurs. They became extinct.
The only old PS2 game that I can think of that is like Myst is Shadow of Destiny. Some violence here and there, but it's not overly gory or bloody.

Not exactly a game that follows the point-and-click formula but I highly reccommend Indigo Propechy if you're looking for a deep adventure title. It's a bit on the short side but it's a gaming experience that can't be missed.
