rhinos can't be tamed but can it obey commands or remeber you or let you pet him

they can be relatively tame, but still dangerous. I interned at a zoo with rhinos. They would recognize and trust their zookeepers. If that zookeeper was sick and another took over- the rhinos would attack them. All veterinary procedures had to be done in the presence of the 2 main zookeepers.
The Rhinos was taught to lower their head, pick up their feet, and go into stocks (a constraint place for their and human safety).
Anyone could go up and pet the rhinos (this was off public view though)- they loved getting the area between their horns scratched. Their skin felt so weird. No one could step in the cage, but if you were on the otherside of the fence, both the male and female were as nice as could be (except when you hit an itchy spot and the male rhino banged into your hand because he wanted you to itch harder)

I Saw a Report On Tv About a Rhino That Recognised The Fact That When He Saw a Zoo-keeper Ment He Would get fed
(bails) sorta like a cow

and thous the rhino would get go to the end of the cage close to is feeding area and wait for the keeper to open the cage and go in the machinery that would put the food in the pen

so they can recognises that

yes. There is a wildlife park that has "tame" rhinos. Rhinos are an animal that fall into the condition-able category. They are always wild but will accept the presence of humans.

I know of a Rhino in a holding pen and when a train went past and the passengers clapped it did a little dance. Amazing
