Greece only has land borders on its northern edge. From west to east the countries it borders are Albania, F.Y.R.O.M., Bulgaria and Turkey.
Its western edge is on the Ionian Sea, its southern edge is on the Myrtoan Sea, and its eastern edge on the Aegean Sea. Its largest island, Crete, sits in the Sea of Crete. All of these seas are part of the Mediterranean.

I am not an expert in geography but i try to answer. In north we have borders with balcanian coutrys as Bulgary,Albania...In east we have island that sourounds Aigaian sea and after sea is Turquie.In south is a part of the cretan sea and mediteranean sea. Geography is not my strong suit. It's in Europe but also near Asia & Africa. Nearby countries are Bulgaria and Turkey. It's on the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.

the far eastern end of the mediterranean sea. it borders turkey, macedonia and albania. it's shores are the mediterranean, the caspian, the agean and the adriatic seas. there are hundreds of islands that surround the entire region. beautiful landscape and architecture. one of my favorite places in the world.
