Tell your mom that you're telling the truth and that it really hurts that she doesn't believe you. However, you really do need to find out what's going on and how this stuff is getting in your eye. Maybe you can sit down and discuss the possibilities with your mom.

If you have a history of crying wolf then I don't know what to tell you. . .on the other hand, it may be possible that this doc has a pole up the #$% so a second opinion may be in order.

But realistically people especially parents tend to believe doctors, (its how we were raised) you may have to go with the flow, because if you start crowing loud enough you are GOING TO PANIC YOUR MOM then your current problems will be inconsequential trust me. Take it easy and see what happens.

Maybe it's something you're doing at night while you're sleeping. Talk to your mom from a different angle and see if she's more receptive. For example, instead of being on the defensive, ask her for help finding out how it's happening. Good luck.

Sounds crazy to me....your mother should beleive you...but someitmes its hard, becasue children lie to their parents so they wont be in trouble. So shes going to beleive the doctor because hes older and wiser and she doesnt think he would lie about things like that....especially when it would get you in trouble...why would he do that? You just have to be honest with your mother all the time and she should trust you over anyones word, like my mom does. I tell her the truth even if it will hurt her feelings or get her mad at me...and we have a close bond and trust because of it. Good luck

Well, if you dress like an emo it increases her chances of thinking you hurt yourself.

If not, then smack her upside the head a bit.
