I appreciate hockey. I like hockey. People have laughed at me when I say that hockey is a beautiful sport. Sitting there in the arena, if you just listen to the sound of the skates on the ice, the way that the puck shwooshes from one stick to the other...the way a face gets mashed up against the boards. Hockey is a great game!

I would be a shameful Canadian if I did not like hockey. Hockey is amazing because it is fast paced, full of big hits and great goals. I have grown up in a hockey community and will always pick hockey over any other yank sport.

Well you are clearly a Red Wings fan (that's okay) that series was awesome. Love when Shanny caught Roy in mid-air. Looking back at that though, Mcarty should have been suspended big time. If Lemieux had got knocked out with that punch, Lemieux would have been way worse than Steve Moore.
Still love hockey though.

I once liked hockey as a kid until I went to a professional game. The other team had a black player on it and he was riduculed the entire night. some of the fan threw bananas on the ice and said go black to Africa. The players was from New York. It was a terrible experience.

yes i appreciate the sport hockey b/c its the best sport in the world. i like playing it but most of all love to watch being played on tv or in the arena
