My cousins baby boy (will be 1 year March 30th) is in a house where there is alot of yelling and drama. 6 people live in the house, not to mention people go to visit too. So, that leads to drama when everyone dont get along. Not ot mention my cousin and his girl argue while holding the baby. Is this bad for the child and will it have any long term damage? I appreciate everyone's dif views...thank u

This is this child's home, so let him get use to it. Humans are adaptable to everything. If this child is not getting abused whats the problem drama, everyone has drama the only diff is some people react diff than others. Yelling some people are loud. Leave the kid alone.

This is his home. As long as in the middle of all this commotion there is someone to take care of him and give him love, everything is o.k.

Yes ,and you should mention it to everyone involved.
A childs first three years are the most informative one, so if yelling is around ,then yelling and drama are the rules it will learn by , and there are to many self important people in the world today.

It is a form of emotional abuse. Yes, it is harmful, but I don't know how to tell you to help. My nieces and nephews are in a similar household and her kids are about the same age as mine. But the emotional development is way behind our kids because there's so much commotion and it is so intense all the time. Everyone is so focused on their little worlds that the kids are put on the back burner. The kids will probably turn out to be pretty much the same as their parents. Argumentative and addicted to drama.

Absolutely it is bad for the kid. No child should have to be raised in these circumstances. If you believe this is a safety issue, contact your local Child Protective Services Agency immediately.

Listen to ncmom. She is right. Of course this will adversely affect the child - he will grow up and do what he was taught and the cycle will continue into the next generation.
