Unless you have other complications, two cups a day should be fine. Caffeine causes my heart to race when i'm pregnant, so I can't have it, but my SIL is a coffee ADDICT, and her OB actually advised continuing to drink some coffee (three cups a day instead of her pre-pregnancy two pots a day) or she would get headaches and other withdrawal symptoms, which would be harder on her baby than the caffeine.
Good luck, and congratz on your pregnancy!

You can have two cups per day. Just remember that everything you put in your body, your baby gets that as well. Caffine can affect the brain growth. This is not to scare you, just to give you the facts. I do feel for you. I normally hate coke, but with this pregnancy, I craved it to the point where I was almost in tears I wanted it so badly. My doctor, said two 8oz glasses a day, no more. Once I had a couple glasses for a couple weeks, I now don't crave it as much. You could also try decaffinated. It might take you a little bit to get used to the taste, but then you could have your coffee and not have any worries. The starbucks decaf is so good, a little expensive. You can buy the beans in the store and make it at home. Good luck.

Having around 2 cups of coffee a day is fine. Just remember not to have too much more caffiene than that (from pop or coffee) because a lot of other things you eat contain caffiene (like chocolate).
It's no risk to the baby if you keep it all in moderation! :)

Just like everything else, moderation is the key. I have three children (age range 16yo to 9 mos old) and during all of the pregnancies I drank coffee. I did not overdo it but limited myself to two cups a day (yes sometimes I had three throughout the day). As long as you do not intake a lot of caffeine from other things such as soda or chocolate. Don't deny yourself life's pleasures, enjoy your pregnancy don't suffer through it. Just remember moderation

You can drink coffee. But limit the amount. One to two cups a day is all I would recommend.
PS: Coffee doesn't make your baby have SIDS

They recommend that you have less than 300 milligrams of caffeine a day.
Decaf coffee is another alternative.

You can drink coffee but I would advice you to drink decaffeinated because the caffeine can speed the babies heart rate up. and yours also.
