Good question. Here is the quickest way to find this data. Go the the Wilmington Delaware Newspaper (first you will have to search for this) on line, go to its search box, and do an archive search of the daily weather reports for the past 10 May 20th's. If that doesn't work you might try http://www.worldclimate.com/ - simply type in Wilmington and you will get the entire climate record, which should be much longer than 10 years for this station. This will give you temperature and precip but not the past weather including station pressure or winds.

Later edit - Here is a better site http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KILG/1997/5/9/MonthlyHistory.html?req_city=NA&req_state=NA&req_statename=NA

This is the actual May 97 page from Wunderground.com. Simply change the year in the box above the page and you will get exactly what you are looking for. Sorry for the previous leads. However, newspapers in the local library, if you live in Wilmington, would still be an excellent source.

I plugged in historical weather data in yahoo search and came up with a good free site called:
NOAA NATIONAL SEVERE STORMS LABORATORY which is subtitled HISTORICAL WEATHER DATA ARCHIVES.
