I try to be a part of the solution. One day at a time.

I am part of the solution which is someone else's problem. I stand up to big government and ask why. If something goes on in my town, like it usually does, I am on the situation writing letters to the editor, asking the government why this is as it is? So being part of the solution is sometimes being a problem for others so it is a bit of both. Unless people stand up to abuse once they see it then it will continue to happen. Things in a democracy have to change because what they term as democracy today is not really the majority ruling as it should be. We sometimes cater to minority groups in our society not because it is wrong not to but because it will make us look like we are not being fair. Flying planes filled with innocent people into the Word Trade Centre was not fair, yet prohibiting certain individuals from boarding planes because they look suspicious is sometimes considered unfair. Well if individuals told it like it is and produced unquestionable documents to prove otherwise then we would have fewer flight problems. We need to have more security in this world and if that means fingerprints, photo id, embedded chips etc. then so be it and the hell with personal liberty. If you care about liberty then you have to succumb to certain measures to insure that liberty.

That's a matter of opinion I like to think of myself as a part of the solution but I would imagine some narrow-minded folks might consider me to be a part of the problem.

I like to consider myself as part of a solution with my knowledge, but I can be a problem as well with my attitude and my freedom of speach.
