i only have 2 pokemon right now can u give me suggestions on what pokemon i should have oh yeah the 2 i have is mudkip and wingull

you have a mudkip, which is a water-ground type, and a wingull, which is a water-flying type. you should add a dark type, like poochyena, or a steel type, like aron, and definitely a fighting type, like either machop or that sumo one. you dont need all three, but you really need the fighting for later on against dark, rock, and ice types. later in the game you should grab a fire and electric as well to balance the team out. you dont need any more water types, tho.
i am assuming you are still early in the game, meaning poochyena, aron, and that sumo fighting type are available. the fire and electric arent until mauville and the fire town in the mountains.

ok yeah it sounds like you're still early on in the game...me too!! but i've played it before, so here's some hints...
1) get a ralts...very useful psychic pokemon...you gotta level it up a bit till it learns confusion, but once you have that, you're good with that one...
2) next a zigzagoon, useful because it has the pickup ability, which gives you free stuff...as long as it participates in the battle...check your pokemon screen under the menu regularly, because it's not gonna just say "items!," you have to take it from zigzagoon manually...
3) get a couple wurmple, they start out weak, but can evolve one of two ways, to dustox or beautifly, more good psychic attacks...
that should get you thru the beginning...

definetly get a swablu wen u can. it will evolve into an altaria wich is one of the best. a trapinch will be good because its final evo flygon, is a wicked awesome pokemon. if u can get a makuhita, it will evolve into a hariyama wich will help a lot. a chinchou that has the ability volt absorb will evolve into the awesome lanturn and to top it all off in case you dont want one of those pokemon, a roselia would help.
