It isn't because they have low IQs. The African children and people are uneducated, just ignorant. They aren't dumb.

But Africa is not poor because of that. It's poor because for a couple hundred years the countries were controlled by European powers. After the powers let them have their freedom around 50-150 years ago, the countries were struggling to set up their own governments. Since the countries are starting off, they are still developing.
Poverty in Africa won't be as bad in maybe 300 years. I am sure there will always be starving people there but not like how it is now.

it's because of slavery and colonization. Africa is very rich in Gold,Diamonds, Copper and all the expensive elements. but during colonization, it was striped of many of them. Africa would be a very rich country if it wasnt for colonization and slavery, thats why western countries are so rich. also, ever heard of blood diamonds? (A.K.A conflict diamonds) in Seira Leone, the country is war-torn because of them, the country is so poor (dure to the resons above) when ppl buy the BDs, the money goes to the army where they buy weapons and stuff to continue the war. plesase dont be as ignorant as to think that Africa has a low IQ.

Because the original cultures were mostly not into developing technology. Their way of life suited them as is, so they stuck to it.
Without technology there is no way to get the most out of your natural resources. Without that, you don't get enough goodies to trade for lots of other goodies. Without trade you don't get profit and without profit you don't get wealth.

No, it has to do with their culture, supressing women, no educations for females- muslim tradition. Also, the government officials are corrupted took money that foreigner donated for their own use. Finally, there are no human rights, human lifes are cheaper than life stock's.
