That seems reckless.

Vietnam has some nice beaches I lived on Chu Lie beach for a month. No surf board but I went body surfing in 10 footers every day.

Somehow I suspect this information is spinning in the wake of a Swift Boat. Kerry was only in Vietnam for something like 45 days. He was stationed on the Mekong river (no surf) even if he made it to the coast. The good surf is hundred of miles to the North.

As a Marine infantry man the ocean was the only way to get clean. either go swimming or stay dirty. We had no showers or any water most of the time. We would go to extremes to get to the beach and wash the blood off.

Stuff it!

Ever been in a war? Vietnam was no Korea where the front lines were clear and units were rotated off of the front for a break. There were no breaks and the NVA and Vietcong owned the country at night!

Why don't you pick on your drunk commander in chief who REALLY has been getting people killed dailyfor almost 5 years!

Why are you talking about Kerry? At least he has a Silver Star, not a deserter from the National Guard! He also has nothing to do with the upcoming election!

a lot of people surfed in Vietnam. So what if Kerry did. And if he did, it was not a risk to his men.

you really like those "bought and paid for" swift boat dudes , don't you???

Norm your as stupid as conservatives get. John Kerry is a decorated veteran. Your just a loser, that tries to put down people that have been successful. Go find some success. Try playing Russian Roulette you might win.

Kerry was in the last election my friend. You should focus on the adulterous frontrunners in the Republican party for 2008.

Because he wanted to run for president and what better way than to trot out the fact that he is a war hero... :)
