Joe Dougherty actually stuttered giving Porky Pig his first voice. Mel Blanc replaced Dougherty in (1938) as the voice of the stuttering Pig. The rest is history. Since Blanc's death in (1989) Porky has been voiced by Joe Alaskey and later by Vocal Contortionist Jeff Bergman
