what would make the car buying experiance better?

First of all. When you approach someone, they feel like, "Oh no, here he comes..." So approach with a huge smile and extended hand, introduce yourself, give me a business card, ask if there is anything I'd like to see or you can help me with. If I say I'm just looking, then leave me alone, tell me to look around and let me go. I'll find you if I'm interested in something. If I don't see something I like then I'll seek you out if I have a question. That way I'm not thinking to myself, "I'll never get rid of this salesman." I hate that!!!

I just go out of car sales - I know where you are coming from. The best advise I can give you is to be honest without being too forthcoming - and to have an outstanding attitude. Treat EVERY up like they are going to buy. I did a great job - I was in the top 2 every month, and to be honest.....I dont know squat about cars, but my attitude and personality cancelled that out. Just make the customer feel like they are the only thing that is important to you at that moment. GOOD LUCK

Don't bombard the customer, give the customer time to look around on their own, then ease your way over with a nice smile and ask if they are finding everything ok. Let them know that if they need a question answered that you'll be their to assist them.

Straight and to the point ,no 'him hauling' around. First see if they even can be approved for the loan and how much, so they don't get in over their heads, and keeping it real and polite, of coarse, always. 0:-) (no hounding )...
