What signs do I need to look out for now. Are there any special reactions that can occur from the type of metal? Hope you can help thanks!

Well, I'm not a nurse (I'm a doctor)

Stabbing yourself with a needle should not cause you any long term problems. The things to be concerned with are bleeding and infection.

You say that the bleeding stopped, so that's sorted itself out.

Watch the area for signs of infection (redness, swelling, pain, pus, warmth), and see a doctor if any of those signs occur, so that you can get antibiotics.

The metal won't hurt you.
