Dear John,
I would rather see a few injustices rather than terrorists ruling our country. Also, but terrorists are not going to rule this country. EVER. Bush's unauthorized inquiries are bad but, his tyranny is worse. The Bush administration has made this country less free. And I hate him for it.

Dear Shab,
I would rather see a few injustices rather than terrorists ruling our country. Sure, the unauthorized inquiries are bad. But, tyranny is worse. I thank the Bush administration for keeping this country free.

Yeah, instead of doing a better job of screening in airports, and tracking known terrorists, the neocons increased the power of the FBI to invade the privacy of ordinary Americans. Amazing to me is the fact that when the feds got more power, they immediately started to abuse it.

Point of clarity, here: You're not actually quoting Yahoo, but rather the Associated Press, a wire service to which Yahoo subscribes.

As for "liberal media," "left-wing media," and other labels, it never ceases to amaze me how the media shift sides, depending on whether a political fanatic agrees with the story...

Yeah, isn't it good of him to use any illegal way to snoop into peoples business. If he had looked into the whole WMD affair this good, maybe we would not be stuck in a useless war now,. He is a criminal, if anyone else did this they would be jailed.

LOL
The Patriot act isn't about protecting the citizens... It's about one giant leap towards total government control and removal of the constitution.
