To be fair, Kerry was elected to the Senate in 1984, after the "global cooling" scare had long since fizzled. The climate wasn't an issue in Massachusetts state politics in the late 1970s or early 1980s so I doubt Kerry voiced an opinion at all. It wouldn't surprise me though if he supported global warming before he was against it.

Okay. Let's get this really clear.
John Kerry is completely insignificant. Irrelevant. The Democrats needed to put up anyone else for nomination in the last presidential election-hell, a teletubbie could have won-but no Kerry got it and we lost to Dubya.
What he says doesn't matter and any insults regarding him don't affect Democrats. Kerry was disowned and kicked to the curb long ago. Rip on politicians who matter.
