Hi,
I live in New York and I just got a job offer that is based in Virginia. Can anyone help me with locations? I mean I want to know which districts are better to look for a house in. I have a 2.5 yeart old son and also like to know which schools are better.
Thanks a lot

All I know is that the job is at the Washington Dulles International Airport. So I would rather be close to the job. Thanks again

It takes about 8 hours to drive from one end of Virginia to the other. Try to be more specific.

What part of Virginia are you relocating to?

UPDATE: 3/10/07

Ahhh Northern VA. Traffic is a bear up here and so you may want to move as close to your job as you can afford. In Loudoun County, try Sterling, Ashburn, and Leesburg and in Fairfax County try Reston, Herndon, and Centerville. Another option is Chantilly. Do your research and Good Luck!!!!!!

Virginia is a big state...You're going to need to provide a little more information about the location. I live in Southwest Virginia, so if it is anywhere near blacksburg or roanoke I can help you out.

Looking for a home when you have a child is indeed very important as to what information you need to ascertain where you want to live. To that end you really need to do your research in areas that most people will not guide you to. Please dont move here. It sucks! I live in Tappahanncock Va. It is so boring. The school systems are not good at all but housing is pretty cheap any where you go. Dont move to Richmond, Crime is way up.
