Hopefully when you get married it will be for the ONLY time. But I got married at the age of 26. Marriage is for mature people!! It really depends on when a person is mature enough to share their life and love unconditionally. So really there is no normal age.

Are you planning more than one marriage? I don't think that there is a "normal" age for marriage. If that was the case some people would still be getting married at younger ages. I think that people marry when they are ready and find the person that is right for them. And I am sure other factors play in the decision making process.

The first time?? How many times do you plan on getting married. I was 20 when I got married.
Joycee- People dont discover themselves until they are 30?? Sorry I never noticed that rule in the handbook of life! What the heck kind of statement is that?

I was 19 and now that I'm 56 I realize I should have been closer to 30. We have a wonderful marriage but it would have been an easier journey if we were a little older.

What do you mean for the first time? Are you already planning on getting married several times? If so, then I say don't get married at all.
Good luck!
