The diffrence between psychic power and magical power is that we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.

Magical Power can also be real when you understand The Secret: As a teacher of The Secret for many years, as well as being a profession psychic, I now recommend The Secret DVD to everyone. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/does-the-secret-really-work.html

Magicians (and conjurors) intend to deceive, for entertainment. They know they are pulling the wool over people's eyes. Their tricks are opaque to the audience but transparent to themselves.

Psychic power is the ability to experience (usually see or hear) phenomena from the non-material realms, usually the realm where we all go after death. It ranges from relatively plain awareness such as seeing part of someone's aura (which by the way can be photographed with a Kirlian camera) to psychokinesis, telepathy, mediumship, and true prophecy.

Possibly when you said "magical power" you are thinking of the ability to perform miracles? Great spiritual masters have the ability to transcend normal physical laws and e.g. raise the dead. Testimony about 20th century people such as Yogananda (in the US), Sathya Sai Baba (in India) and Padre Pio (in Italy) will give you examples. Some people with some, but lesser, spiritual advancement have developed a shaft of gifted "powers", known in Sanskrit as "siddhas", that to us appear miraculous, such as being able to levitate or to live without air or to instantaneously heal others with, or in some cases without, touch.

Neither magicianship nor siddha powers have any close connection with psychic ability. Magicians, however, occasionally ape psychics in order to demonstrate human gullibility.
