There could be several causes. The best way to find out is to take the deceased rabbit(s) to an exotic pet veterinarian who has experiance dealing with rabbits, and having him or her perform a necropsy (a medical evaluation of the animal to determine the cause of death).
If you are not breeding your rabbits for aliving, i very strongly suggest getting them spayed or neutered. Pregnancy and breeding can take an enourmous toll on a rabbit's body and if you do not have the correct equipment, knowledge, time, and finances that all go along with caring for both mother and babbies, it is much safer and they will be much happier and healthier.
Rabbits require a strict grazing diet consisting of bales of Timothy grass hay and fresh water which must be available for them at all times of day and night. Their digestive tract is very similar to that of a horse in that they must have roughage constantly moving through their systems or they will "bind up" and suffer a very painful death. Nutritional requirements for nursing, pregnant, and young rabbits are even more complex.
Rabbits are best housed indoors as they can suffer severe heat stroke, hypothermia, stress from visiting preadetors, and parasites. They require special soft bedding such as Carefresh which is made from recycled paper pulp. Wood shavings, especially that made from cedar or pine can lead to respiratoy problems and skin problems. They must have a solid floor to stand on, not a grated or wire bottom, and must be allowed room to exercise daily.
Please contact a rabbit experianced veterinarian and visit the House Rabbit Society's web site for more information on proper rabbit care.
remember that rabbits are prey animals who hide their illnesses very well. Like cats and dogs, they need annual check ups and a close watchful eye for any possible sign of deviation from their normal routine.
good luck.

That happens! Some rabbits can live up to like two years and die. When I was in my teens, my family and I had this mother rabbit who gave birth to 14 baby rabbits and they died for no reason at all. The mother rabbit was taking care of them and everything. You should buy some formula for the rabbits at a pet store or grocery store, since their mom is dead.

well.... often the babie rabbits still suckle their mother for up to 4 weeks thats why your rabbits are dying because they are not getting their requied food such as vitamins and Minerals .

giving birth may have killed the mom rabbit, .... or she may have been sick but not noticeably sick and that may have killed her.
you could call local vets and ask them to see what they have to say.

yeah tell her. determine its all clean tho. in many situations you will discover that 1or2 kittens will die in any clutter, and its fairly straight forward for all of them to die in her first clutter somewhat if she is youthful. yet any puppy could be taken to a vet after their first being pregnant for a examine up.
