I use the Sally Hansen cold wax strips all the time. The plastic strips come prewaxed and you rub them between your palms to warm up the wax, peel them apart and then place it on the part to be waxed. They work just fine and I use them anywhere I need to. (Face, body, bikini) Mostly I use them to clean up my eyebrows and bikini area b/c I got tired of shaving. And, doing it yourself saves you lots of $$. If you can't inflict some pain on yourself, however, I'd recommend leaving the bikini area to a professional. It takes some practice but you get the hang of it.
Oh- good tip for doing your eyebrows or other areas which need precision - cut the wax strip in half lengthwise before you separate it. This leaves a perfectly straight waxed edge so that you can get really close to your eyebrow without risking getting the wrong hairs caught in the wax buy an uneven edge.

Nair's Cire de vine.
I've tried Hansen, I've tried so many other kinds, but this one is the best.
Cire de vine by Nair works differently because it doesn't need a cloth strip. You just warm it up, spread it on your body, let it dry ,and PULL.
Hurts like all wax products, but great for bikini lines, legs, armpits... And it smells pretty decent.

I like both Nair and Sally Handsen. They both good about anywhere I agree with the lady that said don't wax your pubic area yourself.
I favor the prewaxed strips that don't need heat. You use friction by rubbing them between your hands. They don't burn.

Just... don't wax your armpits. I mean, You can.. just don't forget to put the sticking gel on it and the numbing gel. :)
I use the Bahamian wax.. its pretty touch for hair down there and on the legs. For your face I use the Nair Waxing kit.

I tried to wax myself but it was too hard and so I get it done. Then there are no mistakes.

I have never had good luck and if you do decide to try one, never wax yourself!! It just doesn't work, you need to have someone else (who isn;t afraid to hurt you) do it.
Good Luck

Definitely harder to do it on your own. You need to hold the skin very taught...harder to do by yourself....I would recommend having a pro do the job...
