She actually seems to be in more pain today than the day before the when the first tooth cut. I thought the first tooth was always the worst.

Well for starters give her infants tylenol every 4-6 hours for the pain, or just try some baby orajel, both work really great. But to answer ur question, usually teeth come in 2's: so for instance if her top front tooth came in first then her other top front tooth is not far behind. Then will come her bottom front teeth, & then what is also called stomache teeth, because they tend to upset their stomaches, anything from diarrea to loss of appetite. But every baby is different as far as time & how long before she cuts the rest of them. Just be prepared for the entire 1st year after about 3 months for her to be cutting teeth overnight. My daughter who is now 3 started cutting teeth when she was about 3-4 months old, & once she got about 6 of them in I never knew she was getting more unless I saw them in her mouth already grown in. My 4 month old baby girl now is trying to get her first 2 bottom teeth & she's having a hard time of it. I just rub her gums with a cool wet wash cloth & give her baby orajel. She also likes to "chew" on my fingers.

Congratulations on her first tooth! How old is she? As far as when the other teeth will be coming in, it really depends on the individual. My first son got his first tooth at 6 months. Then within a month or so he started getting other teeth. My second son, however, got his first tooth at 4 months and not another tooth for another 3 or 4 months! And with both of my babies, I didn't realize they were teething until I saw or felt a tooth. Again, it's based on the individual. They like to chew on things, cold teething rings are a great help. :-)

Its different for all children, my daughter cut 2 teeth at a time. She is almost 18 months old and has a mouth full, my friends son is almost 19 months old and just has four on top and four on bottom.
