Why would anyone mock somebody because they have a different belief system. To mock what you don't understand is ignorance anyway you slice it.

You need to individualize every instance.
Some people only respond to mocking others to silence.
I suspect anyone that professes abstinence. It is against the laws of nature. A good idea but rarely practiced without associated trauma.

Why would an atheist believe in abstinence? Talk about being confused. I don't believe in God and I don't believe in sex before marriage. That seems like the worst of both worlds.
