Yes you could download videos from youtube...

you could use this site to download videos for free:

http://www.youtubex.com/
http://www.videodl.org/

Files downloaded from that site would be .flv files and need an flv player to view the videos, you could a free flv player here:

FLV Player - http://www.martijndevisser.com/blog/article/flv-player-updated

or if you want to convert the flv file to an avi or mpeg file then you could use this free software to do the conversion:

RivaFLVEncoder - http://www.rivavx.com/index.php?encoder&L=3

there's a paid software to do all this, you just need to provide the link of the video you want to download and it could convert it to .avi file as well instead of .flv.

VideoGet - http://nuclear-coffee.com/php/download.php

it's a shareware you could try it first to see if it suits you better.

hope this helps! good luck!

Yes,it's possible. You can download videos with a little program called YouTUBE Downloader or similar programs you can find with Google. For mobile phones you'll have to convert .flv files (that's the format in which the videos are saved to your computer),you can do that with a converter program SUPER or there are sites that convert videos online, just Google it.

If you go to http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php then you can download the video from youtube in flash video format (.flv). You then need to convert it. Sadly there's not that many converters out there though :-(

Yes, you can use Mozilla FireFox and install the VideoDownloader extension. The files are in flash format, you can store on your computer like this, but you may have to reformat to transfer to mobile phone.
