As time continues on, the sense of "threat" morphs to an understanding of maturity. The problem will come when he is wishy-washy about his feelings. Staying with the other girl, but flirting with you. When this happens, just shoot him down! Focus on you and your little girl. You can't go wrong, and are pretty much guaranteed happiness!

Okay. You will always have a connection with this man because you have a child together. Women tend to be more emotionally involved than men. You have to respect his choice. And please do not put your child in the middle of this. Many children get hurt for things such as this. I am sure you are hurt now, but give yourself time to heal and allow yourself to move on.

I know some women want to keep a hold of a man who has made it clear he doesn't want her. The guy was a bum from the start and she just can't see it. Shame...
