Terry because he the new Tony Adams (without the drink)
Gerrard because he is a powerhouse player and Lampard is drip.
Rooney because he is a great player and Henry is not 100% fit.

i dont think you can even mention ferdinand in the same breath as Terry ! Ferdinand is very over rated ,terry is smarter stronger and braver !! Gerrard easily over Lampard ,Gerrard offers a lot more to a team ,Henry over Rooney ,rooney has so much potential but is over hyped by the press right now ,he has a long way to go to reach the standard Henry has set !

Terry over Ferdinand for his bossing ability in defense and his pure determination..Gerrard easily over Lampard because he offers more than a deflected goal, in his passing, positioning and great shots. and finally rooney over henry because A. hes not french and B. hes an all round better player who gets involved in the whole game as apposed to waiting for the perfect pass, and he also offers that moment of class finishing.
