I had assumed what I had last month was a period, but now I dont think so. It was slighty heavy for half a day, then went away completely, then came back a day later very light. I know that implantation is supposed to be spotting, but I have heard of women having their periods when pregnant. I have had all the symptoms of pregnancy, even my lower abdomen is heavy and slightly tight. My breasts are very full. I am small, so I notice any little change in their size. I also have felt random cramping and sharp pains in my lower abdomen. My cervix is closed and I have CM. If that wasn't my period than I should be ovulating right now, but again, my cervix is closed. If that was not my period, then I would be about 8 weeks. Can somebody give me some advice. I am going to the DR next week. Thanks

I am one of those women who had a (period) but ended up actually being pregnant. What you have described definitely sounds like it could be implantation bleeding. If you would like to read more about it do a google search on implantation bleeding you will be amazed at how many results will come up. I would definitely get a hpt today. You don't need to wait for the first morning urine if you are indeed 8 week pregnant. Good luck!

It sounds like you could be pregnant. I would definitely take a HPT.

If you are monitoring your BBT, you could look for 18 elevated temperatures after ovulation or look for 3 day beyond your longest LP.
