Should the U.S. stop providing Aid to the rest of the world ?

Despite all we do and give we're still hated. So I say fine...good bye money and aid and how od you like me know ?

Well the US goes into a country, kicks their *** around then drops food and propaganda pamphlets everywhere. What's to like?

Just curious - how much of the Federal budget do you think goes to foreign aid? 20%? 30%? Half?

It's less than two thirds of one percent.

But you're right about something, in a way. We Americans can't just sit around patting ourselves on the back about how generous we are and not know anything about the world we are dealing with. We're hated not because of the money we give but because of what that money does or does not do, and for whom. It's up to us to hold the government accountable for how the money is distributed, and where, and demand to know who our government is calling our friends - because a lot of times, the people we call our friends are the most repressive people out there.

foreign aid is small to other countries. Besides its a small price to pay for wreaking havoc on their countries and people and stealing their commodities. Also the United states is in more debt than any other country in the world. So foreign aid to repay is only obligation they usually have for payments.

Won't ever happen. Aid=influence, and giving it doesn't mean you always care...it's good P.R.

Absolutely... No reason to give ungrateful whineyass people anything when all they do is piss & moan about the U.S.

The U.S. should concentrate on its own people.
