Ok so I have been talking to a bunch of ladies at my job and they swear im having a girl. Because I never had pimples before my skin has been clear for years but every day I wake up now that im pregnant i seem to have a new pimple. the morning sickness last all day and im craving the hell out of blow pops/sweets lol...Me and my boyfriend decieded that we are going to wait until the day our little bean is born to know the sex..so yep that's right all the setting up and thangs we are going to do before our little one gets here everything is going to be unisex colors and clothes..anywho do you ladies believe in the well if your really sick or get pimples or other systoms you more likely to have a girl or boy. Any ideas on these long lost tales of oh your having a girl cause of this or oh your having a boy cause of this..Its kinda interesting to me..any mommies out there like me?

I didnt get sick at all but i did break out lots ....when normally i never had problem skin
and i craved sweets sometimes and sometimes salty or carbs kinda stuff
and I'm having a boy
and I knew even before the ultrasound told me i just knew it and i was right

I dont believe it because I had a girl and I never once got a pimple and I never once was sick through the whole think, and I never craved sweets either.Its just old wives tales/ But its fun though. I have been sick with this one, and some people say that if you are with one and arent with another then its the opposite, but I guess we will see in a couple months.

some of the wives tales were right with me, but most were wrong. First pregnancy, I craved sweets alll the time, gained a lot of weight all over,heartbeat was 140 carried high and wasnt sick. It was a boy. 2nd pregnancy, hardly gained any weight, heartbeat was 160, craved sweets again and was carrying low...another boy. The doctors thought it was a girl. This one, Im breaking out like a teenager, craving spicy foods and fried foods, very sick and exhausted.....not sure what im having yet but it will be fun to find out! Good luck to you and congrats!

I wish that were true. When I was pregnant with my daughter my skin was clear and glowing, and I'm acne prone. I must admit I looked very pretty (contrary to what they say that the girl steals moms looks) anyway I had bad morning sickness which means girl and so on...... WELL, I'm pregnant again with another girl (so the doctor says) and I look totally different, I have little acne, DIDN'T have morning sickness etc. all the symptoms of having a boy (according to the little online quizes I've taken) so who knows, I'll find out how true that is soon, I'm due any minute....Good luck with everything!!!!

All of this is old wives tales. I crave sweet tarts and I am having a boy. As far as a fast heart rate not accurate either, mine is always really high and I am having a boy. My skin broke out too, people thought I was having a girl. and as far as the way you are carrying. I have gained 26 pounds I am 29 weeks and it is all belly. Good luck...hope you get what you want

k does ur belly look like a torpedo? if it does ur more than likely having a little boy ull also wanna pay attention to the heart rate if its around 140 its probably a boy the old saying is true if u carry high its a girl if u carry low its a boy at least it was in my case. im not sure about the cravings for sweet stuff

I dont know if they are true or not but I crave sweets, and my face has broken out really bad too and im having a little girl! Kinsey Mae! My hair is also really dull! With my son my hair was real shiney and my face was smooth and i craved salty things! I know one thing about the girl wife tales that was true for me was if your feet are really cold then its a girl...my feet are always cold! They also say if you dont look your best during pregnancy then its a girl because she is stealing all your beauty...true for me...lol! Good luck and congrats!

If you have agreed to find out in the delivery room - then I would say - just cross your fingers for a HEALTHY baby.... however, if you believe in the mythological and are interested, I have found a really cool website below that includes the CHINESE LUNAR CALENDAR! It supposedly can determine the sex of the baby based on the age of the mother and the month of conception!

i`m thinking it`s a boy...i`m 39 weeks, and at the beginning of my pregnancy all i ever wanted was ice cream...had to have it every day. i had really dry skin and never had a pimple in my life...but suddenly i got some pimples...around my chin, and on my hairline. my stomach was also high...and all the old myths say oh it`s a girl...but only problem is i`m having a boy. it depends on how you feel. i think a mother`s intuition is greater than anything...and if you feel you think you know what it is...than that is probably the sex of your baby...for me, i knew mine was going to be a baby boy. let me know how it turns out.

I am having a lil gal
I dont trust old wive's tales - if u want it to be a surprise than so be it. Old wive's tales are all myths
