I would expect that there is a highly radioactive element that would have pretty devastating effects on a human with even just a little bit of exposure. Especially if it were in elemental form. I read once about some physicists exposed to just a few seconds of a plutonium supercritical reaction. One of them died within days of the incident and two others died within 2 years.
