My game crashes after the movie, just before it begins to load........can anyone help?

i tried to play it loaded fine but wen it gets to the video at the end it just crashes and comes up with what looks like an error but it doesn't say anything, i click ok n it just closes down the the game? anyone else getting this prob or can help?

The Sims 2 Seasons is an Expansion Pack and requires The Sims⢠2, The Sims⢠2 Special DVD Edition, or The Sims⢠2 Holiday Edition for PC to play. Check computer requirements to make sure you can run The Sims 2. http://thesims2.ea.com/help/detail.php?help_id=280

no you only need sims 2 to play sims 2 seasons

Expansions are not reliant on other expansions. You can get any or all of them, they don't need to all be there. So no, you don't need Pets to play seasons.
