A piercing is an Open wound, The reason why you smell that smell is NOT because its infected, DO NOT take it out!!! It is healing, so you will smell it for a while. Just continue to clean it and do sea salt soaks.
You will get used to it and it will go away, All piercings have that funk smell during the healing process. Do not worry.

I have a nose piercing too and it smells funny when moved around. Maybe that is how all piercing smell but you can only smell this one because it is right in your nose.

That'll be bacterial growth. This does not equal infection - this occurs when the bacteria invade the tissue around the piercing and in this case the surrounding tissue will become hot, red, sore and swollen, possibly with some pus discharge. Keep following the recommended hygiene regimen.

I know you say you clean it, but could it be infected? I had my nose pierced at one time and I never had a weird smell. In my opinion it is probably either the jewerly you smell, or an infection.

I would assume you are smelling the alcohol and silver reacting.
Try cleaning it with regular soap and water. or changing the metal stud

Maybe the metal is rusting and since it is in your nose, of course you can smell it. I suggest you get a new one.

If its a diamond, well i dont quite know, I would guess maybe your allergic to the metal. Or a possible infection.
