1 ok, first you multiply 7and 99,900.
2 then you multiply 35 and 18,200
3 then subtract the 2 answer from the 1 answer.
4 now keep that answer on the top and work the bottom
5 multiply 7 and 203
6 multiply 35 and 35
7 then subtract the 6 answer from the 5 answer.
8 then go back to the top and divide that number by the bottom answer

extract 7 out of the equations. it will look like this initially.
7 ( 99,900) - (35)(18,200)
___________________
7 (203) - (35) (35)
then
7 [ 99,900 - (5)(18,200)]
___________________
7 [ 203 - (5) (35)]
so the ending equation will be like this
99,900 - (5)(18,200)
___________________
203 - (5) (35)
the 7's were cancelled.
So just multiply 18200 by 5 which is 91000 subtract it from 99900 which gives u 8900. then go to the lower part which is your divisor. 5 x 35 =175 then subtract it from 203, you'll get the answer below
8900
____
28
equals to317.85 rounding it off to the nearest 10s. it will give you the answer of 318..
hope this helps!

Ok, the top part first: 7(99,900) = 699,300
(35)(18,200) = 637,000
699,300 - 637,000 = 62,300
Now, the bottom part: 7(203) = 1,421
35^2 = 1,225
1,421 - 1,225 = 196
So now you have 62,300/196 = 317.8571

You have to total the top numbers first, then divide them by the bottom ones. Break them into groups ((7 * 99,900) - (35 * 18200)) then divide it by ((7*203)-(35^2))

Just go through step by step. The numbers inside the parentheses are supposed to be multiplied by the numbers next to them. The number with the squared next to it is supposed to be multiplied by itself.
If you do that you will end up with two numbers on top and a minus sign between them and with two numbers on bottom with a minus sign between them.
Now do a subtraction on the top and one on the bottom so you will end up with one number on top of the fraction and another on the bottom of the fraction.
Divide the top number by the bottom number to get one number with a decimal point (and maybe with a minus sign if it works out that way).
