Sad but true...i guess we are always searching...for happiness, more money, love, a better house and the list goes on. We spend so much time chasing after something better that we don't realize that we have the best of everything right in front of us. The gifts we have today are the best if we only stop for a minute and allow ourselves to take in that moment - to laugh with our kids, to eat dinner together, to enjoy each moment - its an eye opening experience to realize that the best is right in front of us...just think how less stressful life would be if we learned to appreciate what we have and who we have in our lives...I guess there really is something to the saying - stop and smell the roses...

We spend most of our lives looking at the world through our subjective goggles. We cannot rewind the hands of time but can only look back on the photographs of our life, our memories, and learn from the mistakes. It is when we look at these photographs objectively that we realize what we once had, what was within our reach, but failed to hold onto. When we're are younger we are not only blinded but bounded by our own conventions, which causes us to automatically discard something or someone that is good if they don't meet our level of consciousness.

Because some people are selfish or just immature. Some actually think if they mess around and nobody knows about it that it wont come out, but lies never ever stay hidden!
I didnt realize how important my best friends were to me until something awful happened to me and now I cant get enough of them!
I think it takes something bad to realize what people have in front of them, not ages, just something bad, which it shouldnt take something bad happening for anyone to realize what and who they have in front of them!
I love you DQ, Star & Z Money, LOL! (MUAH TO ALL 3)

Because we are never happy with what we've got. The grass is always greener on the other side, until you get to the other side and look back, then the side you have just come from looks a lot greener. Its called the green grass syndrome.

We all have these notions, that the grass is greener on the other side. Nine times out of 10, that is not the case, and when someone steps out onto the other side, they then realize this.

People only see what they wanna see.
One sees well only with the heart. What really matters is invisible to the eyes (Antoine de Saint-Exupery - Le Petit Prince)
People forget that.

I guess because they are to weak minded, ( inexperienced or stupid) to figure it out when they first have it in front of them. Generally, these people will have difficulty in all things that they can't realize once presented to them

Because they are too busy looking some where else. We always think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence... until we get there. Maybe then we look back?
