I really care. I try to answer serious questions sreiously.
Also - "appease" isn't really the right word. That's more for giving in a little to someone who's aggressive, to get them off your back for a while. Maybe you mean "placate" or something, which means to give them a little something to take care of them for a while, but isn't a long-term solution.

When I answer a question I always hope that it will help the person asking and also other poeple reading the answers. So, yes, I care or else I would not waste my time.
