They are pushing for a senate version of a bill that would destroy the sun in an effort to stop global warming. Is this more junk science or could they pull it off?

They are democrats and that's just what they do, destroy things. Be it pregnant girlfriends or the Sun they have lots of practice so they might pull it off.

Well, before the sun is destroy by these three person, let start worrying about one of them, Ted Kennedy that want to destroy our American way of life by giving 12 + millions of illegal aliens amnesty with out thinking about the consequences that this will bring to our country. Right now this is more important than the Sun. Ted Kennedy want to do it NOW. Wake up America and let start worrying about important thing, here in our Nation.

I have never heard of this. If the sun were blocked or destroyed, life as we know it would end. We would be put in a dark perpetual winter.
In order to stop global warming, people need to stop driving so many fossil fueled vehicles. Especially the big SUVs.

Since warm cycle periods have been the cause of Co2 for millions of years (that we have evidence for) not vice versa and the Sun the only real influence, it has more to do w. propaganda and keeping the poor and 3rd world down than junk science.

We can't destroy it with nukes, the Sun is one big "nuke".
Maybe if we concentrate all of Cheney's evil it will form a point of evil so dense that gravity will collapse all space around Cheney's evil and create a black hole.
Then we can take the Cheney "evil" black hole to the Sun and destroy it.
