I think you can enjoy just about anything if you put your mind to it. You can have a great conversation with the other people who are standing in line. You can talk on your cell phone to your best friend. You can play handheld games. You can read. You can catch up on things you've been putting off. What you enjoy and what you hate are just a matter of deciding what you will do with the time you've been given. The secret to being happy is...well...just being happy.

I'm claustrophobic, so I don't like standing in line any place. But, our dmv is never crowded, so I don't mind. I hate places like Wal Mart and arenas where there are zillions of people.

Why waste time standing in line when you can do what you need to do on-line now? If I bought a new car and had to get new plates, etc. I would l let the car people/insurance people do it. That's what I'm paying for.

I usually take a small folding table and a couple of chairs (all on wheels), a stack of plastic chips, and a deck of cards and start my own mobile poker school. On a good day, the car registration's paid for before I even reach the end of the queue.
