All you need is an adapter for the power cord. Most are rated for 110 or 220v power.

No. You can buy a set of "International power adapters" that convert their power to 110 volts.
Do a Google /Yahoo search for them.

you have to buy an adapter for it first. If they have a "Staples" or a "Radio Shack"in Canada you can see if they have one there
