Go into the control panel.
Click on the Mouse icon
Go to the Pointer page
You can reset the cursor to whatever you want there
Suggest you use the Windows Default scheme to reset everything

I get what You mean...
Actually is not a "cursor", but is a shortcut.
To make the real My Computer appear:
1. Right-Click on empty area of your desktop.
2. Click Properties
3. Click on the "Desktop" tab,
4. Click on the "Customize desktop..." Button
5. In the "General" tab, under the "Desktop icon" box check the My Computer Check box.
Delete the My Computer shortcut (with overlaying arow).

if it is a program she installed like comet cursor it will be in the add/remove programs in control panel just go there and uninstall.

Go to your control panel and look where it shows your mouse. You then click on the mouse and you should see where it says pointers then you can change it to whant you want.
