I have a 3'' rainbow shark that was in a 29 gallon tank for about 6 months and he was always a very nice fish never touched any of the other diamond tetras, corys or angelfish. Then I moved him to my new 120 gallon to give him more space. He is now moving a lot more and set up camp in between two pieces of driftwood I got last week. Now my nice little shark has started to harass all of the other fish (3'' bolivian rams, serpae tetra and especially the dojo loaches that are 4'' big) He doesn't usually persist very long and it's only a couple times a day he gets in this mood and he has never hurt any of the fish.

Should I keep him in this setting or is there something I can do?

Thanks for the help.

He does seem to do this mostly at feedings times and I havn't seen it too often any other time. And I usually feed brine shrimp or blood worms along with flake and other pellets in a few places across the tank so they arn't all in one big group.

Well.... it is never a good idea to mix tetra with semi aggressive fish. It's a new place, so he's gotta be extra tough to establish his territory. I would say buy some bushy live plants or some african sword. Put some good hiding spots in there, too. Create a space that he'll be able to retreat to and not feel threatened. Rainbow sharks like groups so you could also throw in a couple more to help with his feeling of insecurity.

If you have a bully fish, you need to take him out. Surprising that in such a large tank you have this problem, but he is going to raise the stress level of the other fish, and they may get sick/die. It's not a good thing to have in a tank. You might try adding a lot more hiding places for the other fish, and lots more plants, and the problem may get better.

Rainbows love to munch on a good fin. You also happen to have slow moving fish as tankmates. Not a good combo.
