What you do is you look at the individual monomials:
6a^3b^4c^2 and -24a^4b^2c^3
Then you factor out the greatest common factor of both of these, which is 6a^3b^2c^2
Once factored out, the answer remaining is b^2-4ac
So the answer is:
6a^3b^2c^2(b^2-4ac)
